Single aircraft valuations are a major function of the website. Enquiries can be made of SPECIFIC aircraft (identified by serial number or registration) or GENERIC aircraft (where the subscriber selects his own aircraft specification details including type, variant, year of build, MTOW, engine choice and specification).

Each enquiry will currently produce Current Market Value, Current Base
Value, Current Lease Rate and Future Base Value.

Specific Aircraft Valuations

For specific aircraft identified by serial numbers or aircraft registrations :
  1. Type in Registration OR Serial Number in the appropriate box
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select the Inflation Rate and Forecast Horizon for the Future Value Forecast
  3. Click on the 'Valuations' text (bottom right of screen)
  4. You will be given the option to confirm your choice of aircraft that carries the particular serial number or registration. Click on the serial number of the aircraft you require.
  5. You may be advised that no aircraft were found that matched your specification. Please check your input and try again. It may be that the aircraft you have requested is too new for the database, is no longer current, or has been incorrectly identified.
  6. When searching for an aircraft's serial number, you may be required to enter the exact serial number as defined by the aircraft manufacturer in order to return the required results. Users may find the following list below helpful in order to determine the exact Manufacturer's Serial Number, as recorded in the Ascend CASE Database.

Each of the valuation enquiries made under this service is effectively an aircraft specific desk top valuation that provides up to date:

  • current market value
  • current market lease rate
  • current base value
  • current base lease rate
  • future base value (constant and inflated dollar terms)
  • future base lease rate

The beauty of this system over any generic or hard copy publication is that:

  1. Enquiry Service values are based on the known specification of actual
individual aircraft, as recorded on the Ascend CASE and Ascend Values
Network (AVN) databases, so they are far more representative in terms of
accounting for detailed specification, than any published material.
    i.e. the values are Aircraft-Specific

  2. In addition, the value opinion given will be dynamically updated, reflecting our very latest current opinion, and not an opinion published a few months before. With a dynamic market, that can prove crucial to analysis.
    i.e. the values are Real-Time

Subscription Notes

Subscribers to the 'Aircraft Valuation' module of ascendV1.com, also have access to the telephone based Enquiry Service offered by Ascend. Subscribers can ask the same types of questions through traditional channels such as email, telephone or fax. e.g. if a particular aircraft type is not available through the online system.

Every time a query is submitted from this page, the Subscriber account will be automatically recorded. Queries submitted from outside of ascendV1.com will be recorded separately. Multiple enquiries on the same type/variant or serial/registration
number over a period of time are considered to be separate enquiries. If you wish to regularly review the value of a specific aircraft, the [Portfolio] service would be of benefit.

We advise you to print all valuations and data can also be downloaded directly into spreadsheets. (Note enquiries can only be purchased in set units (minimum 25 or more):

Subscriptions to other areas of ascend V1.com can also be arranged.
